To reduce gas extraction in Groningen as quickly as possible, the Gas Unie is building a nitrogen installation near Zuidbroek. The installation covers an area of ​​approximately 12 hectares and has a capacity of 180,000 m3 of nitrogen per hour.

Koop Watermanagement carries out the work for client De Romein. The work consists of milling horizontal drainages to a depth of 6 meters minus ground level, installing and renting sound-damped pumping stations with accessories, installing monitoring wells and data loggers to monitor the groundwater levels in the construction pit and surrounding area and installing and rental of transfer systems.
